“On May 9 the PlayStation Plus Collection will no longer be offered,” Sony said, before reiterating that PS Plus will continue offering titles across all three available tiers via the monthly Essential games lineup and rotating games catalogue.

Well, it’s been nearly three months, and the deadline of Tuesday, May 9, is fast approaching. Unfortunately, it was announced back in February that the PS Plus Collection would be axed later this year. Sure, Persona 5 may have disappeared from the PS Plus Collection a while ago, but the remaining 19 titles up until now have remained a great way to immediately get started on Sony’s console by gifting current-gen console owners with some of the platform’s best PS4 games. They say that the best things in life are free, and PS Plus subscribers who picked up a PS5 at launch found that out early on by being gifted 20 games to immediately download. The 19 games available to PS5 owners with a PS Plus subscription will soon disappear forever, so be sure to claim them while you still can.
